Terms of Service

Askly is operated by Dax Allen Thomas ("we", "us"). These Terms form a contract between you and Dax Allen Thomas. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Askly.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (typically 13+, sometimes 16+). Keep your credentials secret — you are responsible for activity on your account.

You agree not to:

• Use Askly for anything illegal or to harm others.
• Generate content that is hateful, sexual content involving minors, deceptive, or defamatory.
• Try to extract our model weights, scrape the service, or reverse-engineer how it works.
• Send malware, probe our security, or impersonate others.
• Resell, redistribute, or wrap Askly in another product without written permission.

Askly's responses are generated by AI. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date. You are responsible for how you use those responses, for verifying important facts, and for having the rights to anything you submit as a prompt.

Paid plans are billed in advance and auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings → Manage Subscription; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. See Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

We own Askly, its software, branding, and design. You keep ownership of the prompts and content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to host and process them so we can run the service for you.

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach of these Terms, non-payment, or security risk. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless we're legally required to keep it.

Askly is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Askly after a change means you accept the new version. Questions? Email support@askly.app.
